This is the start of the Wealth Shanny.<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Making money, everyone wants in. Ranging from little kids to the elderly, all across the world everyone wants to achieve financial freedom. If you do a little digging on this very topic however, (as a young adult in today’s age would) you would find that looking for a definitive 100% foolproof plan which answers the question of ‘How do I make money fast?’ is impossible<\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first when I decided to tackle the same question, I did not know how deep the rabbit hole went. On all social media platforms it seems to me that there are an exponential number of so called ‘money making masterminds’ who found out the best way to make money, or the having the best side hustle. And experts on the subject are hard to come by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I can say that as a total newb to the topic of money, doing any form of research is hard. And through my research I have found that the ways of money making include dabbling in cryptocurrency, investing, day trading, gambling, drop shipping, starting a business … The list goes on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

My main concern about my findings is that the ‘money making masterminds’ will most likely ask you to pay for courses on the ‘art of money making’ which is usually hit or miss. Or doing the actual research and rejoicing in finding the ever elusive actual experts on the matter. But finding out what they have to say includes money jargon which usually fills this space, making you feel like a lost student in a classroom. So where do we go from here ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It seems to me that the only options is either take the risk and gamble it on a person who claims to have experience in this field and just take his word for it? Or, actually take the experience from professionals but take a long time to decipher the meaning behind their words before gaining some credible knowledge?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I don’t know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buttttt, that is what I am going to find out. This journey will be that of demystifying money making, and I will share what I know and what I actually do know is not much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All I know so far comes from one book and that is called Rich Dad Poor Dad<\/strong><\/a>. To anyone who is considering starting to learn about money, reading this book is a great start. The author is a millionaire and he doesn’t use any money jargon. A double win.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, I think the main takeaway from this book is that you don’t have to be smart to be rich. You could be smart and poor. This speaks to me especially as an incoming Uni student in Singapore where there is a large cultural emphasis on grades and the prestige of going to a good school to get a good job, become a hard worker and of course get paid well in the process. Unless your dream is to be a doctor or a lawyer, where good grades are essential, grades don’t really matter and does a 9-5 job sound like a successful life to you guys? Because to me, I’m not sure about that. However, I think this delves into another debate of whether being rich is what you would like to call successful and\/or what defines success but that is another issue. (comment if you are interested in my thoughts on the issue I would love to hear back from you guys. \ud83d\ude42 )<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting back on topic, I think that most of us are confused when it comes to money and stuff like taxes and accounts and banking, so hopefully doing my research and posting here would help us all be a little less confused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
